This position is ON-SITE.

FTE:

Shift: Day Shift

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Possibility of 4 days/10 hour shifts and one day remote after an introductory period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leading professionals in the Neuroscience sector.

• Engage in a forward-thinking and supportive nursing team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while adhering to best practices.

• Recognize the critical role of the Neuroscience nurse within the patient care continuum.

• Participate in a multidisciplinary care team focused on comprehensive disease management.

• Serve patients with various conditions including Movement Disorders, Headaches, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular Diseases, Sleep Disorders, Stroke, Vascular issues, and Memory Disorders, alongside a robust Neurosurgery team.

Position Overview:

The Staff RN in Ambulatory Clinics actively contributes as a vital member of the interprofessional team, delivering therapeutic, patient-centered care to both patients and their families. This role involves systematic data collection and assessment regarding patient health to formulate, implement, and evaluate care plans. The Staff RN employs evidence-based practices to inform clinical decisions and actions related to individual and community health. Additionally, the Staff RN sets objectives and strategies to address care coordination needs across various settings, in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare providers. Considerations of safety, efficacy, and fiscal responsibility are paramount in care planning and delivery. The Staff RN delegates and oversees care in accordance with state nursing regulations and participates in ongoing quality improvement initiatives while taking responsibility for their professional growth. Major duties include care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and assisting with minor procedures in-clinic. Flexibility to support other areas as operational needs arise is required.

Experience Requirements:

Clinical experience or a strong interest in managing patient populations specific to the area of employment is essential. A minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience is preferred.

Educational Qualifications:

A valid nursing license is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Licensure Requirements:

Must possess a current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or an equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
