Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to help people live well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans to support respiratory health.
  • Operate specialized ventilators and equipment to provide critical care services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and support to patients and families.
  • Conduct pulmonary diagnostics and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Develop and implement respiratory therapy protocols to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
