Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position. This role requires a dedicated professional with the necessary certifications and experience to provide exceptional patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) Certified Radiologic Technologist with Nuclear privileges
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification
Position Details
  • Eligibility: Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the central facility.
  • Role: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Facility: OhioHealth Doctors Hospital
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), with on-call duties for one full week, including weekends, every three weeks.
  • Common Procedures: Includes cardiac studies, HIDA scans, bone scans, thyroid scans, and other nuclear medicine procedures. Equipment utilized includes Siemens Symbia T6 Spect CT, two Siemens Ecams, and one GE Discovery 64 Slice PET CT. Uniform: charcoal grey scrubs. EMR system: EPIC.
Job Requirements
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Associate's Degree in a related field
  • Current Ohio Department of Health Nuclear Medicine license
  • Certification as a CNMT or ARRT(N)
  • BLS certification
Schedule Information

This position offers a standard day shift with additional on-call responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a variety of nuclear medicine procedures efficiently.
