Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Inform guests of specials and feature items, take food and beverage orders, and deliver orders in a timely manner.
  • Table Management: Maintain clean service areas, pre-bus tables frequently, and clean and reset tables promptly.
  • Teamwork: Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise and be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess verbal and language skills to understand and communicate with guests.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions, possess basic math skills, and be able to operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours) and safely lift and maneuver plates of food and supplies weighing up to 10 pounds.
