Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network systems to ensure high-quality transmission service.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate hardware, software, and peripheral equipment to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Network Performance Management: Monitor and maintain network performance to ensure high-quality transmission service.
  • System Security: Maintain and update system security plans to ensure the integrity of our network systems.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation: Implement and coordinate network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
  • Security Procedures: Enforce security procedures to protect our network systems and data.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Within six (6) months of hire, you must obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA).
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field of study.
  • Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Service Delivery: Understanding of ITIL service delivery concepts.
  • Microsoft Certification: Microsoft certification for Windows desktop or server administration.
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification: DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA).
Clearance Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Clearance: Must hold a Secret clearance and be eligible for a TS/SCI.
  • DHS EOD Suitability: Must be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability.
Physical Requirements
  • Stationary Position: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Office Equipment: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
