Job Summary

The Bungalows At Mayfield seeks highly motivated and compassionate Resident Care Associates to provide exceptional care and support to our residents in a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

About the Role

As a Resident Care Associate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families. Your primary duties will include providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident's Personalized Service Plan (PSP), while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living space.

Main Responsibilities

  • Resident Care
  • Develop and update Personalized Service Plans in collaboration with the Wellness Director and attend service plan review meetings with families as requested
  • FOLLOW THE HYDRATION SCHEDULE ESTABLISHED FOR RESIDENTS DURING YOUR SHIFT
  • Complete resident meal attendance sheets and provide room service or account for residents who have not dined in the dining room
  • KNOW AND COMPLY WITH ALL RESIDENT RIGHTS
  • Initiate, assign, and assist with activities as appropriate
  • Check assigned residents daily for cleanliness, proper clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition
  • Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions
  • Conduct regular checks on assigned resident rooms for general cleanliness and neatness and take necessary action
  • Assist with conducting laundry, common areas including bathrooms checks for cleanliness and hazardous chemicals and take necessary action
  • Complete all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for assigned residents according to their Personalized Service Plan (PSP)
  • Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells and take necessary action

Educational Requirements

  • High school education preferred and may be required by the state
  • Previous experience working with elderly individuals or those with disabilities is preferred
  • You must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care tasks
  • A knowledge of assisted living industry and dementia care or skilled nursing is an asset
  • You should be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and evenings

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $12-$14 per hour, commensurate with experience.
