Job Summary

As a Maintenance Planner at Raytheon Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within our industrial environment. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and schedule preventative maintenance tasks, adhering to our Procedure MC&O guidelines. This role requires proficiency in SAP system, Microsoft Office applications, and effective communication with production teams to optimize machinery uptime and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for machinery and equipment based on our Procedure MC&O guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with production teams to establish and conduct daily walkarounds for production areas, identifying maintenance needs and addressing issues promptly.
  • Work closely with production teams to establish and coordinate scheduled downtime for machinery and equipment maintenance, minimizing disruption to production schedules.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs and production schedules, ensuring critical maintenance tasks are addressed promptly.
  • Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues, assess performance, and determine maintenance needs.
  • Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and breakdowns to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a maintenance planner or similar role in an industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning principles, PM frequencies, and scheduling methodologies.
