Compensation:
$30.88-$41.29 per hour (with a base rate of $26.47 for the first 8 hours; subsequent 4.25 hours compensated at a 1.5 rate of $39.70-$52.79)
Work Schedule:
12-hour rotating shifts, 3 days on and 3 days off.

Position Overview:
The Chemical Production Technician will oversee chemical processes and evaluate product quality to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment while troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain washers, wastewater treatment systems, closed-loop systems, cooling towers, and bulk storage to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct mandatory sampling and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist with environmental initiatives as necessary.
- Drive process improvements through root cause analysis and implement actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide coaching, troubleshooting, and training to fellow team members.
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical knowledge, including the alignment of gear-box motors and drives.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with pumps and piping systems, including repair and rebuilding.
- Completion of Hazardous Waste, DOT, and Wastewater Treatment training courses is required.
- Ability to obtain a Pesticide Applicator's license.
- Experience with basic chemical lab procedures, such as pH measurements and acid-base titrations is preferred.
- Technical knowledge of chemicals and wastewater treatment operations is advantageous.
- Awareness of environmental reporting procedures and wastewater permit requirements is a plus.
- Prior experience using SAP is preferred.
