Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Representative to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all phases of assigned complex claims, from initial contact through final resolution.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to handle sensitive or difficult matters in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secures all required claim-related information and documents the claim for compliance and management review
  • Attends initial meetings with municipal officials and defense counsel
  • Provides written reports to management on all cases
  • Works within settlement authority structure, including drafting requests for settlement authority
  • Issues claims payments and includes all payment documentation in the claim file
  • Conducts all aspects of claim investigation
  • Collaborates with defense counsel and management team to facilitate positive claim resolution
  • Assists in member orientation/reorientations and training
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years handling professional/employment liability claims
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required
