Job Title: Dye Weigher I - Part-Time Position

Position Overview:

Shaw Industries is seeking a skilled Dye Weigher I to join our team. As a Dye Weigher I, you will be responsible for accurately filling tanks to the correct level with water and gum. You will also monitor dye levels of current runs, keep up with empty tanks for making dye, and notify the Dye Weigher of any issues. Additionally, you will assist with dye-adds that need to be made for existing tanks and perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

Accurately fill tanks to correct level with water and gum.

Monitor dye levels of current run.

Keep up with empty tanks for making dye.

Notify Dye Weigher of any issues.

Monitor and ensure the constant flow for making dye.

Assist with any dye-adds that need to be made for existing tanks.

General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

Preferred Manufacturing Experience.

Preferred: Compounding and Dye Experience.

Work Shift: 12 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM.
