Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide/Cook to join our team at Riverside Landing Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals and exceptional customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of food, including cooking, baking, and food presentation.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all applicable policies and procedures, as well as current federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations governing long-term care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working in a dietary department, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
