Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Glenway Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including animal restraint, triage, and diagnostic imaging
  • Collect and analyze lab samples, and manage medical records
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including administration of medications and monitoring vital signs
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about treatment plans and patient care
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Rotating Saturday availability
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work with clients and their pets
