Key Responsibilities:

As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting ultrasound examinations independently.
  • Coordinating patient schedules for imaging procedures.
  • Assessing urgent and emergency situations to prioritize patient care.
  • Explaining procedures to patients, selecting appropriate transducers, and adhering to established protocols.
  • Identifying abnormalities during scans and making necessary adjustments.
  • Providing diagnostic images and relevant patient history to radiologists for further evaluation.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a 2-year Allied Health program.
  • ARDMS registration is mandatory.
  • Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
