Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Mifflinburg Area School District is seeking a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students in our district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language plans for students
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • PA certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with students with speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
