Job Summary:
Mifflinburg Area School District is seeking a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students in our district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language plans for students
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- PA certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with students with speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
