About the Role:

The Program Advisor I - Mental Health for Tennessee will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of mental health programs in Tennessee. This position will work closely with local partners to identify and address the mental health needs of children and families in the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations to identify areas for improvement in mental health services for children and families in Tennessee.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address the mental health needs of children and families, including the development of new programs and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local partners, including community-based organizations and government agencies, to support the development and implementation of mental health programs.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to local partners to support the implementation of mental health programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mental health programs and services, and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or public health.
  • At least 2 years of experience in program development and implementation, preferably in the field of mental health.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health issues affecting children and families, and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with local partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership.
