Samaritan Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team in the mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon Coast. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and labeling activities.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • A starting bonus and/or relocation assistance for new employees
  • A float differential of $3.00 per hour to be paid on hours worked
Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and labeling activities
  2. Performing a broad range of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
  3. Working between Samaritan Hospital Pharmacy sites in the mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon Coast
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent
  2. One (1) of the following:
  • A current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
  • Currently enrolled as a first-year PharmD student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and a current unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license
