We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Addictions Therapist to join our team at Caron Treatment Centers. As a key member of our residential services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care in residential services, including family sessions, school expectations, and communication with referral sources.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, gather patient goals, and complete family assessments.
- Utilize a multi-disciplinary treatment team to determine appropriate levels of care and identify behavioral health needs.
- Facilitate group therapy and individual counseling sessions.
- Work with Family Therapists to assess family dynamics and develop comprehensive continuing care plans.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with Caron policies and procedures.
- Master's degree in human services required; licensure preferred.
- Specialty training in modalities such as MI, DBT, Art Therapy, MBSR, CPT, or CBT preferred.
- Experience in facilitating group therapy and working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and move throughout a hilly and multi-facility campus.
