The Mechanical Design and Tooling Specialist is responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and tooling solutions for the manufacture of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) products. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve existing processes, ensuring compliance with design intent.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and tooling solutions to meet all assembly, test, and manufacturability requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine existing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Participate in prototype build activities to ensure compliance with design intent and identify areas for process improvement.
Analyze data and metrics to optimize manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination throughout all phases of the manufacturing process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
5 years of experience in mechanical design, tooling, or a related field.
