At Contextual AI, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with retrieval augmented language models. As a Member of Technical Staff, Retrieval, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our platform.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive Research and Innovation: Collaborate with our team of ML researchers to develop cutting-edge retrieval augmented language models that drive business results.
  • Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and build efficient backend services, APIs, and databases to support the platform's functionality and performance requirements.
  • Integrate with Machine Learning Models: Ensure seamless integration with our machine learning models and pipelines, enabling efficient model deployment and management.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in machine learning and software development.
  • Mentor and Guide: Share your expertise with junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
What We're Seeking:
  • Expertise in Machine Learning: A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in machine learning concepts and frameworks.
  • Experience in Information Retrieval: Extensive experience in information retrieval, including dense retrieval, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
