Job Title: Policy Analyst

Spherion is seeking a skilled Policy Analyst to join our team in the Bureau of Benefits Policy in the Division of Medicaid Services in Wisconsin. As a Policy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing policies for Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of proposed policy changes, researching legal and data implications, and developing policy options.
  • Implementation: Create plans for policy rollouts, work with technical staff to ensure accurate implementation, and coordinate communications.
  • Administration: Manage the ongoing administration of benefit areas, respond to complex inquiries, and ensure policy alignment with other programs.
  • Expertise: Serve as a content expert on assigned benefit areas, engage with stakeholders, and coordinate with various staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid systems, healthcare billing, and policy analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data analysis software, and familiarity with medical coding.
  • The ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Two years of relevant policy experience is preferred.
