Job Summary

The Cannabis Quality Control Specialist exists to support the facility's Compliance department in its endeavor to sustain and grow the business at King City Gardens through effective quality control monitoring and reporting of cannabis and cannabis products in the cultivation facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of the cure room and harvest batches to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on the compliance and quality of all packages and harvest batches in the cure room.
  • Prepare and conduct third-party lab sampling of marijuana batches as needed.
  • Review and verify test results and ensure proper procedure is being followed with bulk packages after they've been tested.
  • Assist in the preparation for and conduct of internal audits and state inspections.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass an OHIO BCI and FBI background check.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle organic plant material daily.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
