CDL Driver

We are seeking a skilled CDL driver to safely maneuver tractor trailers between LiDestri facilities and/or on LiDestri property. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Transporting product between facilities utilizing tractor trailers
• Performing yard checks and moving empty trailers throughout the lot
• Applying security mechanisms to prevent theft and contamination
• Assisting with Shipping/Receiving needs or performing other warehouse duties, as time allows
• Reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid CDL-A license and a current, valid DOT physical
• Have previous experience with shipping/receiving paperwork
• Be able to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses, and leather skid-resistant work shoes/boots)
• Be able to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning
• Have previous experience as a CDL-A driver

This role requires the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to:

• Long periods of standing/moving, working around moving mechanical parts/conveyors
• Loud environment, hot/cold, wet/dry conditions
• Lifting/carrying < 50 pounds
• Frequent reaching/pulling/climbing stairs/stooping/kneeling/bending
