Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, including assessing needs, planning, and meeting the needs of patients in the Progressive Care unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to patients in the Progressive Care unit, including assessing needs, planning, and meeting the needs of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
  • Registered Nurses must possess the ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
  • The RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
  • Associate degree in nursing required, Bachelor degree in nursing preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS/PALS preferred.
  • 1 or more years of RN experience is required, preferably in the ED or Critical Care.
