Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage high-acuity patients with patience and focus, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Utilize critical thinking and quick reaction skills to respond to emergency situations and make informed decisions.
  • Administer and educate patients on medication, tailoring care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Facilitate patient education and empowerment, promoting understanding of conditions, treatment plans, and prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive excellence in patient care and contribute to a positive practice environment.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution or equivalent.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, cleared by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or with eNLC multi-state practice privilege.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, required within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
