- Infection Control: Adhere rigorously to infection control procedures, encompassing proper hand hygiene and utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent infections from spreading.
- Medication Management: Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies, in strict accordance with regulations and guidelines.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and support.
- Professional Development: Stay current on nursing best practices, regulations, and advancements through ongoing education and training.
- Leadership: In certain cases, LPNs may supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs) or unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Valid LPN License: Valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
- BLS Certification: BLS certification.
