We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Tabitha. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and treating clients with speech, language, swallowing disorders, and voice disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate clients using appropriate diagnostic assessment tools for dysphagia, speech/language/voice disorders.
- Develop and implement client care plans in collaboration with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and family members.
- Document client care, instructions given, progress toward goals, and changes in condition following each visit.
- Communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care.
- Design, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions and instruct clients' family members/caregivers in carrying out the program.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist school.
- One year experience as an SLP, preferred. Geriatric experience, preferred.
- Speech Language Pathology license in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
- CPR Required.
- Valid Nebraska Driver's license (unless otherwise allowed by law) and a good driving record required.
