Position Overview:
The Clarkson College General Education Program is looking to establish a pool of enthusiastic Physics and Organic Chemistry Adjunct Instructors. We seek individuals who are committed to enhancing student learning through innovative teaching methodologies grounded in evidence-based practices in the sciences.


Teaching Responsibilities:
Instructors will be responsible for conducting in-person lectures and laboratory sessions during afternoon or evening hours. The Physics curriculum will be introduced, followed by the Organic Chemistry courses.


Commitment to Excellence:
Our adjunct faculty members are expected to embody the mission and values of Clarkson College, actively contributing to student success.


Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in physics, chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Prior teaching experience in physics, chemistry, or a related area.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education teaching is preferred.
  • Background in curriculum development is advantageous.
