Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require continued care to recover completely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve rehabilitation goals
  • Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare teams to promote maximum benefits of care
  • Participate in performance improvement and program development activities to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to budgetary planning to ensure cost-effectiveness of services and programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR card
