Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate Key Part Time to join our team at Talbots. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by offering personalized styling advice, answering product questions, and making recommendations to drive sales.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, including fit, color, and fashion trends, to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales.
• Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and increase sales.
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and back office.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a fashion or apparel store.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to learn and stay up-to-date on fashion trends and product information.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and move around the store as needed.
