Job Title: Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary:
Actalent is seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing in-process, finished, and stability testing of products, inspecting and testing raw materials, and communicating with Production regarding batch making and required adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform in-process, finished, and stability testing of products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
2. Inspect and test raw materials, label, and release them for use in production.
3. Communicate with Production regarding batch making and required adjustments to ensure smooth operations.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies to ensure efficient use of resources.
5. Make calculations, analyze data, and prepare summarized results to support decision-making.
6. Assist in product development activities and method development/validation to drive innovation.
7. Maintain laboratory equipment and general cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Weigh small quantities of raw materials for production use with precision and accuracy.

Requirements:
1. Associate's Degree in Chemistry or related science field.
2. Analyze samples using Flame AA with accuracy and precision.
3. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
5. Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets, methods, standard operating procedures, and batch sheets with ease.
6. Good organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Quality-oriented work view to ensure high-quality results and products.
8. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage documents and data effectively.
