Workforce Management Analyst

Overview

Objective

The primary goal of the Workforce Management Analyst is to enhance staffing efficiency, refine operational processes, and improve the effectiveness of Property/Casualty Customer Service (PCCS) through analytical workforce management strategies.



Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

1. Spearhead the development and upkeep of the PCCS Workforce Management (WFM) system, tailored for forecasting and scheduling tasks.

2. Manage the comprehensive workflow from forecast creation to review, reporting, tracking, and adjustments, ensuring optimal staffing and performance metrics.

3. Communicate forecasts and strategic recommendations to PCCS leadership, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives.

4. Create and sustain both long-term and short-term models for contact volume and handling time by utilizing historical trends and real-time insights.

5. Conduct ongoing analysis of shift changes, staffing needs, and time-off requests, integrating historical call volume and agent productivity data for precise forecasting.

6. Review and interpret daily departmental reports to ensure adherence to service standards within the PCCS.

7. Develop strategic recommendations based on comprehensive analysis and user feedback.

8. Stay informed about initiatives impacting the PCCS workload and make necessary adjustments.

9. Apply effective workforce theories to tackle daily operational challenges, balancing service levels, utilization, and occupancy for maximum efficiency.



Qualifications

Essential Requirements

1. A Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or computer science, or equivalent experience.

2. One to two years of experience in the insurance sector or a related field.

3. Three to five years of experience in planning, analysis, design, testing, and troubleshooting of processing and management reporting systems.

4. Three to five years of experience in workforce management, preferably in a call center environment.

5. A commitment to ongoing job-related training and education.

6. A passion for enhancing customer experiences within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Technical expertise and experience with the Farm Bureau system.

2. Experience managing small to medium-sized projects.

3. Background in process improvement initiatives.
