Registered Dietitian - $35.00/hour
Per Diem, covering one Saturday each month and occasional weekdays
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all facets of patient nutritional care, including the development and execution of tailored nutritional plans.
• Ensure adherence to the standards set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, providing recommendations to relevant clinical staff.
• Collaborate with Medical and Nursing teams regarding patient nutritional assessments and participate in related care meetings.
• Conduct nutritional evaluations, service delivery, and discharge planning for patients.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives within the Culinary & Nutritional Department.
• Offer nutritional guidance and continuous assessments to patients.
• Lead educational programs focused on dietary practices and healthy eating habits.
• Supervise the Culinary Department's clinical staff, including orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
• Exhibit knowledge and skills in geriatric and rehabilitation care to enhance patient support.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Sciences.
• Valid Dietitian License in Massachusetts.
• Active registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative and clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred experience in geriatric and rehabilitation nutrition.
• Understanding of growth and development throughout the lifespan.
