Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and monitor warehouse and tank farm personnel, operations, and procedures to ensure adequate supply of materials and supplies for manufacturing departments.
  • Responsible for utilizing personnel and equipment to expedite processing of shipments and receipts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and ensuring all products are shipped as per DOT/IATA/IMDG regulations.
  • Responsible for meeting budgets for responsible areas.
  • Works with Production and SCM to ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts.
  • Responsible for supporting third-party warehouse operations as needed.
  • Services provided within acceptable levels and costs.
  • No injuries to personnel or the environment while complying with domestic and international shipping laws.
  • Support company objectives and targets.
  • Ensure adequate amounts of materials are available when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of warehousing and transportation fundamentals. SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work after normal business hours when required.
  • Develop and maintain a close customer relationship.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages welcome.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Capability of working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • 5 years prior working experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Traffic, or other supply chain type function.
  • Leadership experience.
