Job Overview:
As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for executing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the Angio-Interventional and Neuroradiology domains. Your role will involve:
- Conducting both routine and advanced imaging procedures
- Providing essential support during patient interventions
- Operating specialized imaging equipment for various procedures
- Ensuring minimal radiation exposure for yourself, patients, and others
- Meeting quality assurance standards
- Maintaining an image quality assurance rate of less than 5%
- Managing inventory of necessary supplies
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and education
Competitive hourly rate
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiography program
- Experience: Prior experience is necessary; a minimum of 2 years in Interventional Radiology is preferred
- Licensure: Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist through ARRT
- Position involves standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and lifting
- Exposure to various environmental elements and potential infectious diseases
