Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Heartland Community Health Clinic. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing non-pharmacological therapies.
  • Assess patient health status, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including systematic review of records and treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with patients, families, and staff members.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Physician Assistant and current DEA license.
  • Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to educate patients and their families and provide emotional support during a crisis.
  • Strong analytical ability to assess condition of patient based on physical examination, and appearance and laboratory and related clinical data.
