Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Sentara Advanced Imaging Center Belleharbour in Suffolk, VA. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within the scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology
  • Operate radiation producing equipment and electronic Radiology systems
  • Prepare patient rooms/equipment/medications
  • Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab

Requirements:

  • Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology
  • Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Basic managerial experience of coordinating the work of others
