About the Role

Soliant Education is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team of professionals dedicated to improving student outcomes. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with students to support their development and provide individualized therapy plans.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of students' occupational therapy needs and develop tailored therapy plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Accurately track and document student progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • IEP Meetings and Goal-Setting: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington state.
  • Certification: NBCOT certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience working with school-aged children, with a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
