Job Summary

As a Painter for SeaWorld, you will be responsible for performing all functions of general paint work for in-park painting services while ensuring a safe environment for guests and employees. This includes utilizing application methods, airless spray, conventional spray equipment, brush and roller applications, assembling and dismantling scaffolding, organizing and planning daily workload without direct supervision, selecting proper materials for jobs, and maintaining cleanliness in the paint shop and storage areas.

Responsibilities

* Perform all functions of general paint work for in-park painting services
* Ensure a safe environment for guests and employees
* Utilize application methods, airless spray, conventional spray equipment, brush and roller applications
* Assemble and dismantle scaffolding
* Organize and plan daily workload without direct supervision
* Select proper materials for jobs
* Maintain cleanliness in the paint shop and storage areas

Requirements

* At least one year of onsite experience or equivalent experience in the painting field
* Experience working with chemical and hazardous waste
* Ability to obtain a company driver's license including high reach and forklift licenses
* Be comfortable building and working on scaffolding up to 24ft
* Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
* Be familiar with Mach and Sata HVLP automotive spray guns
* Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours
