We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team at Boston College Carroll School of Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of refrigeration, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance using a computerized maintenance work order system.
- Provide written records of work completed on a daily basis.
- Communicate with supervisors personally or through electronic forms of communication.
- Minimum of three to five years of recent full-time experience as an HVAC Mechanic working for a licensed contractor or maintenance organization.
- Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic.
- High school diploma.
- EPA Universal Recovery License.
- Proficient knowledge and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and Refrigeration systems and controls.
- Ability to read and understand plans, blueprints, and schematics related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Ability to work from written or verbal instructions.
- Skills in the use of equipment and tools used in the trade.
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
- Sheet Metal License.
- Oil Burner Mechanic's license.
- Experience with and an understanding of Direct Digital Controls (DDC), preferably Johnson Controls and/or Schneider energy management systems.
