We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Imaging Mammography Technologist Senior Professional to join our team at UC Health's West Chester Hospital. This full-time position involves working first shift in our breast imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality mammograms following ACR/FDA guidelines, collect patient histories, locate prior exams, prepare radiologist reports, and assist management with daily modality operations.
- Conduct evaluative equipment tests, participate in Quality Assurance programs, qualify patients for funding programs, track results, and maintain records.
- Perform Stereotactic breast biopsies, including scheduling, post-procedure follow-ups, obtaining biopsy results, faxing to referring physicians, tracking in systems, and informing radiologists of outcomes.
- PARTicipate in candidate selection for the area, ensure new hires are properly oriented, provide input for annual performance appraisals and competency reviews.
- Oversight of modality QC/QA, regulatory programs, and PI activities for the department.
- Associate of Science Degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Current licensure by the State of Ohio as a Radiographer. Advanced certification in mammography is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mammography, preferably with business or purchasing management background.
The estimated starting salary range for this position is between $31.63 and $39.11 per hour, depending on experience, unique skills, and other factors.
