Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging procedures, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain computerized tomography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement protocols for imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing imaging procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training and education programs as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
  • 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required.
  • 3 years of CT experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.

This is a per diem as needed position, working in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
