Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Pediatric Intensive Care environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
- Minimum 2 years of previous Clinical Pediatric experience required
- 2 years of PICU experience
- BLS-aha & PALS certifications required
- Float requirements: Will be required to float to wherever is needed throughout facility
- Weekend Required
- Holidays: As Needed
- On call: Required. Not often, only when census is down and not needed in Peds ER, Mother/Baby, Nursery
