Behavioral Therapist

Siskin Children's Institute is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing direct 1:1 home-based therapy to children with autism or other developmental or intellectual disabilities.

• Implement behavioral interventions based on client needs and current research, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide direct behavior therapy to young children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder in home, school, and/or clinical settings.
• Work in a team to facilitate optimal care and exceptional outcomes for patients.
• Provide appropriate feedback to parents and/or teachers under the direction of the supervising BCBA.

• At least 18 years old and have, at minimum, completed high school or national equivalent.
• Maintain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and be CPR and First Aid certified.
• Knowledge of early childhood and autism assessment tools and procedures, and child development.
• Experience implementing positive behavior support plans and programs written by the BCBA.
• Knowledge of current methods and techniques of applied behavior analysis and discrete trial training.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with patients, parents, and professionals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use required software.
• Respect for cultural diversity and capability of adapting ABA procedures to that diversity.
• Maintain 75% billable productivity.

• Full-time hourly rate of pay beginning at $25.00 per hour (premium billable rate).
• Full-Time RBT's accrue 17 Days of Paid Time Off (including paid winter break between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day).
