Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Backup Driver/Material Handler at Johnstone Supply. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of incoming orders, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate inventory locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming orders from suppliers in a timely manner
  • Meet deadlines and schedules for routine procedures and deliveries
  • Handle shipping/receiving activity, including UPS, auto freight, and LTL shipments
  • Ensure pick/pack and transfer orders are accurate and completed according to the daily schedule
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and ensure materials are in good order and condition
  • Operate pallet movers, hand-trucks, forklift trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse machinery and equipment
  • Load and unload customer orders into company vehicles and deliver products to customers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Certification in Forklift Operation preferred
  • Experience with material handling, inventory management, and warehouse operations a plus
  • Excellent verbal, math, and written communication skills
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
