As a Utilities Equipment Repairer with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair utilities equipment and special-purpose support systems, including electric motors, electrical equipment, and gasoline engine systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair air conditioner electrical systems, air conditioner vapor systems, refrigeration unit electrical systems, portable heater fuel/electrical systems, fire extinguisher recharging systems, and fire extinguishers/valves
  • Maintain and repair gasoline engine systems, air conditioner electrical systems, and portable heater fuel/electrical systems
  • Inspect and repair electrical equipment, including electric motors and instruments

Earn While You Learn:

In the Army National Guard, you will learn these valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance. Your training will consist of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you will learn basic Soldiering skills, and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including practice in repairing electrical products.
