Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other challenges. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and test individuals served to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer treatment programs and communicate treatment needs to staff.
  • Provide re-evaluation, programmatic changes, and effectively manage a caseload.
  • Set up appropriate home exercise programs for individuals served and perform home evaluations.
  • Maintain documentation, including reports of services, weekly schedules, and therapy goals.
  • Serve on rehabilitation treatment teams, including meetings, conferences, and departmental meetings for program development.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, professionals, paraprofessionals, consultants, families, and community resources to ensure effectiveness of occupational therapy programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and one year of human services experience.
  • One year of experience in neuro-rehabilitation preferred.
  • Must be licensed OT/L in the state and a member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
  • Effective communication skills.
