Delaware State Parks Maintenance Housing Technician

Job Summary
The Division of Parks and Recreation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Housing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and upgrades to rental units in the southern region of the state.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and upgrades to rental units within the southern region
- Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance within intern housing units
- Assist the Housing Administrator with annual housing inspections
- Assist the Housing Administrator with maintaining current lists for tasks to be completed for each unit
- Act as liaison between the Housing Administrator and contractors to ensure contracted work is completed in a timely manner and meets the Division's standard
Requirements
- Six months experience in performing work in a variety of trades fields such as plumbing, carpentry, painting or HVAC
- Six months experience in record keeping
- Knowledge of estimating cost, time and materials for projects
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
