Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist Class A to join our team at Ebara Elliott Energy. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing complex setups and machining operations on a variety of machine tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform most complex setups and machine tool operations, including turning, boring, facing, milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, sawing, slotting, grooving, and grinding.
• Work to extremely close tolerances and maintain a high level of accuracy in your work.
• Read and comprehend drawings, sketches, job scopes, and verbal instructions to complete layouts and plan machining operations.
• Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements and notifying the appropriate representative for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Accurately measure and record all dimensional inspections as needed and pass annual dimensional inspection test.
• Train other employees in operation of equipment, reading prints, selection of tooling and machining equipment, along with repair processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• 5-8 years' experience with rotating turbo machinery.
• Advanced rigging capabilities.
• Advanced machining capabilities on manual lathes.
• Experience with turbines, compressors, and other rotating equipment.
