We are seeking highly skilled Section 3 workers in Oxnard, CA to join our team at CalSolar Inc. As a leading provider of solar energy solutions, we are committed to delivering high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities- Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Assist with equipment setup and dismantling as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions and guidelines to complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist skilled workers, such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers, by providing support and carrying out basic tasks as directed.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a General Laborer or similar role is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
- Proficient in using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures and regulations.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Punctuality and reliability in meeting work schedules.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
As an Electrician - CA State Certified, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
- Prepare work area for installation of equipment.
- Install electrical components.
- Connect wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.
- Operate equipment only if trained and certified to operate.
- Set up and operate tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems.
- Read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances per drawings or plans.
- Secure and lock up equipment after use.
