Excelsior Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for identifying and preventing cyber threats to our computing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Threat Detection and Prevention: Continuously monitor and analyze network traffic to detect potential security threats and implement measures to prevent them.
- Security Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to ensure timely and effective response to security breaches.
- Security Policy Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Training and Awareness: Provide security training and awareness programs to employees to ensure they understand their role in maintaining the security of our computing environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience: At least five years of experience in a security analyst role, with a strong background in penetration testing, vulnerability testing, and remediation.
- Skills: Proficiency in firewalls, proxies, IDS, IPS, and security appliances; experience with Windows and Linux operating systems; knowledge of network protocols and packet analysis tools; familiarity with development and scripting languages like C#, VB, Python, C,.NET.
- Certifications: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and ECSA (EC-Council Certified Security Analyst) certifications.
- Language: English (en-US)
